My name is Kevin Joseph Gaffney.  I am 27 years old, and I am currently working as a Business Intelligence Analyst for Beam Suntory.  I have graduated from Babson College in Massachusetts, where I studied Finance and Data Analytics as an undergrad, and also from the University of Notre Dame, where I received a Masters Degree in Business Analytics.  I live in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, a suburb west of Chicago, with my caring parents, energetic sister, and three year-old Doberman, Boden.

I am a passionate sports nut (biased towards my home city of Chicago, of course), especially soccer (which I played throughout high school and still referee today; check out my other site here).  I enjoy a variety of music but am largely partial to country.  I am a passionate follower of God, and am blessed to have very loyal friends and a lovely girlfriend.

I started this blog with the intention of keeping my writing skills sharp while expressing my ideas in hopes that somebody may find joy, comfort, or motivation in my writing, in whatever way that they could find it- through sports, through my opinions of the world, or through my personal journey.
